7th grade girls wanted to play travel soccer in the Fall
Travel soccer is a great way to develop your skills, improve fitness and is lots of fun! If you've ever wanted to play, this is the time to sign up. Our 7th grade girls team needs 2 more players in order to have a team in the fall. Soccer experience is helpful but not required. Practices are once a week and there are 1-2 games on the weekends. Carpools are always available. The cost is approximately $150 per session.
If you are interested, please e-mail Dianec711@comcast.net. The deadline to commit is midnight tonight.

Help Needed from 7th and 8th Grade Families!
Dear ARMS Families,
Every year the whole ARMS community works together to make some special events possible for the 8th graders as they are leaving the school. One of those events is on Friday, June 14th from 7:30-10:00 pm: the 8th grade Social at the High School. We need the help of both 7th and 8th grade families.
--7th grade parents/guardians are the ones at the actual event.
-- ARMS administrators and teachers take the lead in overseeing and
chaperoning the event.
-- 8th grade families plan, setup, cleanup, and provide all the food and drinks, but are not present during the social itself, so 8th graders can celebrate without their own parents/guardians watching.
7TH GRADE FAMILIES -- WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!
7th grade parents/guardians staff the food tables and the games. We need many volunteers so we can have short shifts. If you can only come for one hour between 7:00pm and 10:00pm that's fine. If you can stay longer, thank you! Please give a little of your time on a Friday, and know that next year your 8th grader will appreciate that you paid it forward. To volunteer, email the FSP at ARMSFSP@yahoo.com.
8TH GRADE FAMILIES -- COMPLETE PERMISSION FORMS SO YOUR CHILD CAN BUY A TICKET
8th graders got the permission forms for the Social last Wednesday. They need those permissions and $5 to buy tickets next week Tuesday 6/11-Friday 6/14 during 8th grade lunch. No tickets will be sold at the door. If your 8th grader didn't produce a permission form, please contact us at armsfsp@yahoo.com and we will email you a copy. ** Permission slips will also be available on the ARMS website.**
8TH GRADE FAMILIES -- SEND SNACKS!
We need help with snacks for the middle school social! Please sign up on the BringIt website below, and feel free to sign up for more than one item! We are hoping that each item can aim to serve about 25 kids. We do not plan to have silverware of any kind, so this food must be finger food only. The food can be dropped off anytime after 4PM or when you bring your kids. The social is at the high school, so bring the food to the side entrance of the high school and follow through to the tables. Please aim to have items on disposable plates or containers so that clean up after the event is easier. We also need help with set-up and clean-up, and these slots are also available for sign up on the BringIt list. Set-up is from 4-6 and clean-up is from 10-11PM on the same night.
Thank you for helping make this last Social a wonderful event for the kids.
