Haga Donaciones a la Escuela 

Marque su calendario el 10 de diciembre, 2014.   Es el dia en que el Valle haces sus donaciones.  Este es el tercer año en que se hace esta actividad.  Esta actividad ha recaudado sobre $3 milliones para organizaciones en nuestra comunidad.   Este año La Junta Ejecutiva de Padres participara’ por primera vez, para así poder trabajar con nuestras mini propuestas.     

Hasta el momento hemos dado cuatro mini-propuestas, con un total de $1,000.   Estas propuestas han apoyado la Orquesta de la Escuela,  articulos para Educación Especial, meriendas nutritivas para el departamento de consejería, y un asiento cómodo para el área de lectura.  Usted puede ser parte de estas votaciones.  Solo, venga a las reuniones.

Le queremos recordar que estamos colectando abrigos de invierno hoy mismo! Entregue sus abrigos de invierno limpios y no muy usados, guantes, botas, etc. en el vestíbulo de la escuela intermedia ARMS desde hoy y hasta el día 26. Si usted desea ayudar a organizar los abrigos, por favor envíe un correo electrónico a armspgo@gmail.com

Incluso una horita nos ayudará. Gracias a todos los que ya han donado!

 

Coat Share Reminder

 Just a quick reminder--The Winter Coat Share is happening now! Drop off clean, gently used, winter coats, boots, etc. in the lobby at ARMS from now until the 26th. If you would like volunteer to sort, please send an email to armspgo@gmail.com

Wednesday, November 19 – Chorus 8 and Orchestra 8 Concert. MS Auditorium 

                                                Call Time 7 p.m.,  Concert Begins at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, November 26 – Early Release Day. Students are dismissed at 12 noon.                                             

   Lunches will be served at ARMS

Thursday, November 27 & Friday, November 28 – Thanksgiving Recess. 

                                                                                       School is closed.

Monday, December 1 – Trimester Ends. Report Cards will be distributed on December 19.

Monday, December 1 – Teacher Curriculum/Workday. School is closed

Wednesday, December 3 – Orchestra 7 and Band 8 Concert. MS Auditorium 

                                              Call Time 7 p.m.,  Concert Begins at 7:30 p.m.

Gracias. No hay escuela.

The pies are handmade in Vermont with certified naturally grown raspberries and pumpkins from Small Ones Farm in Amherst.  $15 each  - two delicious varieties available - pumpkin and raspberry. Proceeds go directly to the 8^th grade events & activities.   

· Frozen and unbaked – ready to bake when you need it! 

· Pies should be kept frozen - thawing before baking is NOT recommended.

Deborah King is a LISCW and worked at Pelham Elementary School as an adjustment counselor for fifteen years. Since her retirement in June 2013, she has worked in private therapy practice and as a parenting coach.

PGO Coffee with Principal Mendonsa Friday Nov 14

Date for coffee with the Principal has changed

 The PGO Coffee with Principal Mendonsa is now Friday, November 14. 

All Parents/Guardians are invited to join the PGO and Principal Mendonsa at 7:45 a.m. for coffee in the Professional Development Room here at ARMS. 

This is a great opportunity to hear about the middle school and share questions and ideas. 

The meeting begins at 7:45 a.m. and will end by 9 a.m.  If you cannot make the entire meeting, we hope that you can join us for a portion of the time.

Reminder Late start day  Día de inicio tardío

Late start day is Wednesday November 5.

On late start days, the school day starts at 9:55 am.  Buses pick up students 2 hours and 10 minutes later than standard scheduled time.

El próximo día de inicio tardío es el miércoles 5 de noviembre.

En los días que las clases empiezan más tarde, el día escolar comienza a las 9:55 am. Los autobuses recogen a los estudiantes 2 horas y 10 minutos más tarde de la hora programada.
