Our students and their teachers have greatly appreciated the snacks that have been contributed by families and the PGO during MCAS exams. The PGO bought snacks for the entire school and made packages for each testing room of water bottles, goldfish, cups and mints for each of two days thus far and will be doing so again next week. It took 3 volunteers 7 hours to prep the packages, plus two hours shopping and they will be doing it all again.
We are the Parent/ Guardian Organization for the Amherst Regional Middle School. We strive to create a supportive and welcoming community for students, their families, teachers and administration by hosting events, organizing programs that foster a productive and positive environment; be a resource for information and engagement; and funding academic and ARMS community initiatives. Staff Appreciation
Staff Appreciation Lunch HUGE success
Hello to Everyone who volunteered, cooked, coordinated, contributed and/or donated to today’s event,As we hoped, the teachers and staff were all well-fed, entertained, prized and appreciated at today’s luncheon!
This is always a fun event to help plan. The staff enjoyed the gathering and they genuinely appreciated the effort of the PGO team. From the abundant buffet, the thank you notes from students, music, massage, amazing raffle items, and set up and clean up—the team came together and delivered!
Thank you so much for contributing to the effort!
If you contributed a dish that you will be collecting at the school, please note that we did not have access to a sink for washing. We did our best to wipe things clean.
Finally, please take a look at tomorrow’s Amherst Bulletin for the PGO’s Thank You Note to the Staff and share it with your ARMS peers.
