Box Tops are helpful
We are happy to share that, thanks to everyone who sent in their General Mills "Box Tops for Education," we've received $52 worth which is more than half way to our goal of $100 by the end of June.
Funds from the box tops are ear-marked for the snacks for the Guidance Department so please continue to send them into the ARMS office!

Writing Retreat #4
Dear All,
I am sending you a gentle reminder
that the 4th Writing Retreat for Parent/Guardian will be Thursday, April 16, 6:30pm - 8:00pm @ ARMS library.
You are cordially invited to join the
writing event one time or a few times on any Thursday evening(s) workable for
you. (The future Thursdays will be April 30, May 14 and 28.) Please come
to the middle school library to find a comfortable space and sink your self in
the world of writing. No matter it is about little things or big events in
life. The main purpose is to allow yourself to design some me-time at a
quiet place. Let's write to learn about ourselves and learn to write about our
own past, present and future life worlds. It is up to you to decide whether to
unlock your writing potential:)
Invited consultant is Lisa Oliner ( lisa.oliner.net ), an
Education / Teaching Consultant, National Writing Project Consultant,
former member of the American Society of Media Photographers, doctoral student
at the College of Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She will be the
major discussant for most of the sessions.
Hope to see you soon. Step out of your space and write here at
library...
Warm wishes,
Ying Zhang
Ed.D Candidate
