RE: Meeting with Search Consultant, Dr. Michael Rush
The
Amherst, Pelham and Amherst-Pelham Regional Schools are in the process
of seeking a permanent Superintendent of Schools to serve our
communities. To support this process, the districts have contracted
with Ray and Associates, Inc. to conduct the search. A consultant for
Ray and Associates, Dr. Michael Rush, met with the School Committee this
past Tuesday to recommend a timeline and process for selecting the new
Superintendent and the Committee voted to accept the timeline.
Dr.
Rush will return to our district on Monday, January 23 and Tuesday,
January 24 in order to conduct focus group sessions. These group
sessions will represent a broad range of constituencies within the
school district and the larger community and are intended to gather more
specific information about the strengths and challenges within our
community.
Parents and guardians are invited to meet with Dr. Rush on Monday, January 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. The
meeting with Dr. Rush will last one hour. Please be sure to attend and
offer your thoughts about what qualities, skills, and experience the
School Committees should consider as they seek a permanent
Superintendent of Schools.

RE: Reunión con Consultor de búsqueda, el Dr. Michael Rush
Las
Escuelas Regionales Amherst, Pelham y Amherst-Pelham están en proceso
de buscar un Superintendente de Escuelas Permanente para servir a
nuestras comunidades. Para apoyar este proceso, los distritos han
contratado con Ray and Associates, Inc. para realizar la búsqueda. Un
consultor de Ray y Asociados, el Dr. Michael Rush, se reunió con el
Comité Escolar el pasado martes para recomendar un cronograma y proceso
para seleccionar al nuevo Superintendente y el Comité votó a favor de
aceptar el cronograma.
El
Dr. Rush regresará a nuestro distrito el lunes 23 de enero y el martes
24 de enero para llevar a cabo sesiones de grupo de enfoque. Estas
sesiones de grupo representarán una amplia gama de distritos electorales
dentro del distrito escolar y la comunidad más grande y tienen la
intención de reunir información más específica sobre las fortalezas y
desafíos dentro de nuestra comunidad.
Los padres y tutores ELL están invitados a reunirse con el Dr. Rush el lunes, 23 de enero a la 6:30 p.m. en la biblioteca de la escuela superior.
La reunión con el Dr. Rush durará una hora. Por favor asegúrese de
asistir y ofrecer sus pensamientos acerca de las cualidades, habilidades
