We are looking for volunteers to help organize two special events for 8th graders at the end of the year, to mark their graduation and moving on to high school. The first is the 8th grade picnic at Mill River, which will take place on Monday, June 19, this year. 8th graders spend the entire day at Mill River, with tons of food, activities, and fun. The town opens the pool for them, and it is a really great event. The PGO is in charge of most of this event, so we need lots of help and volunteers. The second is the 8th grade social, which takes place at the high school cafeteria on the evening after the 8th grade moving on ceremony (June 22 this year). The PGO helps with set up, clean up, decoration and food.
