An IEP for My Child: Every child with a disability who receives special
education services must have an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This
workshop takes parents and educators step-by-step through IEP development,
including how to articulate a vision, using evaluations to write measurable
goals, and measuring their child’s progress.
The last hour and a half will consist of a round table
discussion with volunteer Educational Advocates. Feel free to bring your
child’s IEP if you would like!

Un IEP para Mi Hijo/a: Todo niño con una discapacidad que
recibe servicios de educacion especial debe tener un Programa Educativo
Individualizado (IEP). Este taller lleva a los padres y educadores paso a paso
a traves del desarrollo del IEP, incluyendo como articular una vision,
utilizando evaluaciones para escribir metas medibles, y medir el progreso de su
hijo/ a.
La ultima hora y media consistira de una discucion en una mesa redonda con
voluntarios Defensores Educativos.
Sientase libre de traer el IEP de
su hijo/a si usted desea!
