In the past two weeks ARMS has ventured on field trips to three
different mountains. Team Y hiked Mount Greylock on September 28th, and
this week the two 7th grade teams each completed a hike that included
interdisciplinary curriculum in science, math, English language arts,
social studies and visual art. Team B hike Sugarloaf on Oct 5th and Team
A hiked to Skinner State Park on Mount Holyoke on Oct 7th.
We are the Parent/ Guardian Organization for the Amherst Regional Middle School. We strive to create a supportive and welcoming community for students, their families, teachers and administration by hosting events, organizing programs that foster a productive and positive environment; be a resource for information and engagement; and funding academic and ARMS community initiatives. One school, three mountains
