Reuse Rally: Costumes, Craft Supplies, & Scary Stuff - Oct. 19

A Halloween costume and art/craft supply swap will be held at Smith Vocational High School on October 19.  Donations from the public will be collected from 5-7 pm on Friday, 10/18 and from 8:30-9:30 am Saturday morning, and material will be shared with the public between 9am-12pm Saturday.  In addition, two materials the U.S. typically throws away in “scary” quantities will be collected for reuse and recycling on Saturday from 9am-12pm only: expanded polystyrene foam (EPS, commonly referred to as Styrofoam®) and bulky rigid plastic (BRP) items. A free “Take It or Leave It” swap area will encourage reuse of BRP items.
